Date night

Jimmy came home from class on Thursday with a dozen roses for me and asked me to go on a date Friday night. (How sweet, right?) A date? What is that? Do married people, especially married people with small children really go on dates? (: The only thing he would tell me about the date is that he would be wearing a suit. A suit?! What could he possibly be plotting? Then he asked me if I needed a new dress. Woohoo! When does a girl not need a new dress?! I have the best husand ever! We went with his parents to Logan for dinner (and nobody ate potato skins and salmon :), then to the "Celebrate America" show in the USU ballroom. The show (the part we made it for anyway) was really good. There was a dance with a live orchestra afterwards. It was mostly a lot of old people dancing, but I was totally impressed with their dancing skills. I loved watching all the grey-haired couples dancing the night away together. I hope when Jimmy and I are 80-years-old we still want to bust a move on the dance floor. (That would probably require us learning to dance first:) It was a fun night. (Thank you to Lara for keeping our kids and doing my hair!)

That is so stinkin cute! I better tell Vic about this for a nice little hint. Probably won't help, but hey... can't hurt for a girl to try!
