New Year's, Elly's blessing and Carter turns 2!

Today is Elly's due date. (And I am so glad I didn't just have a baby today!) It is hard to believe she will be 3 weeks old tomorrow! And her big brother is 2 years old! Do I really have a 2 year old? Do I really have two children?!!! Before Elly was born I have to admit I was afraid I couldn't possibly love another child as much as I love Carter. But, the moment I laid eyes on her I understood how it was possible. I love these two little sweeties so much, and I can't imagine life without them.
This has been a very eventful past couple of days. We celebrated New Year's with family in Bear Lake, then blessed Elly there on Sunday. Sunday, the 4th, was also Carter's 2nd birthday. The next day Matt and Rachel invited us to stay at the condos by Harbor Village with them, and my mom and dad came out to go swimming with us.
Sorry this is more like a journal entry than a blog- there are just so many fun pictures---I have to share.

Mom and Carter getting ready to get pulled on a sled behind the tractor. We went to Grandpa Hunter's ranch and grilled hamburgers on New Year's Day.

We followed the tractor very slowly on Jimmy's snowmobile--My incision is still sore!

Carter and Uncle Ben

What a little cutie!

Elly's blessing day. This is my blessing dress. Carter was blessed in Jimmy's blessing clothes, so I thought it was pretty neat that both our kids were blessed in the same clothes we wore for our blessings.

Carter loves the "Backyardigans" and he especially loves Pablo, so I was pretty excited about his cake. (Thanks for your help making it so cute mom!) When we showed him his cake he knew right away who it was and said, "Pabo Take" (Pablo Cake)

Carter got spoiled with all the presents. Thanks everyone for all the nice gifts!

Cousins! Emmy(6 weeks)and Elly(2 weeks)

Life is still very busy. Looks like they both got spoiled. She looked adorable in her dress, and My Halle and Carter have the same taste. She loves backyardigans too.
