Fun in the Sun!

We decided when we first got married that for our 5 year anniversary we were going on a cruise. My parents are celebrating their 30th this month so it was a great way for them to celebrate, too. Matt and Rachel are also celebrating their 5th this year. Our anniversaries aren't until May and June, but we decided to go on the cruise now because we all needed a break from the cold, plus we got a killer deal on the cruise and flights. We were all first time cruisers, and other than a little sea-sickness (mostly Rachel) we all had a fabulous time. We were a little disappointed because the cruisline's private island, Great Stirrup Cay, was the island we were all especially excited to port at, and it got cancelled due to bad weather. Bummer. Oh well, at least we weren't in a tsunami!
Miami, Florida- Outside of Hard Rock Cafe- A great way to spend my birthday

Miami Beach- I was amazed at how beautiful the water is on Miami beach. Miami is such a big city, I was expecting the beach to be dirty, but it was gorgeous. We had so much fun finding cool shells and playing in the huge waves. The water was 75 degrees!

The beautiful Norwegian Sky where we spent 3 nights on the Atlantic Ocean. They are coming out with a new ship in June that is twice the size of this one. I can't even imagine. Our ship had 2,100 guests and 900 workers!

One of the lovely towel animals they put on our bed every night. (:

Aahh! Sunshine, sand and beautiful turquoise water. Who could ask for anything more?

My cute parents.

A beautiful sunset on the Atlantic ocean.

One of the restaurants we ate at on the ship. It seems like that's all we did on the ship was eat! (As you can obviously tell by my extra chubby face! (:

Siblings.

Scuba Steve (aka my Dad) This was on Nassau, Bahamas.

We decided to rent mopeds on Nassau so we could buzz around wherever we wanted to go. We looked pretty awesome with our sweet helmets.

Lookin' good. (:

Sorry ladies, he's TAKEN!

Atlantis resort on Paradise Island.

The whole crew! We had a great time. Thanks so much to my sweet grandma and Jimmy's mom for taking care of the kids for us!

I love all the pictures. It looks like you guys had a great time. I've never been on a cruise, but I'm thinking it might be a good graduation present for kolby.
