We decided to try canning jam with all the huckleberries and raspberries we picked this summer. I am definitely an emotional pregnant mess, because I was crying by the time we were half way through. I can't stand things that are so technique sensitive, and I was stressing about them not sealing and being a waste of all our berries and blah, blah. It actually turned out ok, although half of them didn't seal. Jimmy was very patient with me through it all, but I think he probably would have rather made jam by himself!

Okay, so I still haven't tried it, but Vic has talked about your amazing jam a few times & he said that next year we have to go picking with you so we can make our own & you can be my amazing teacher :)
